The photo gallery shows images of the Abu Muslim mosque. The Abu Muslim Mosque is one of the three mosques of the same name built in the Guba region of Azerbaijan in the villages of Kryz, Khinalig and Jack.
At present, the mosques in the villages of Khinalig and Dzhek have been restored by residents and are used for their intended purpose. However, the Abu Muslim mosque in the village of Kryz is not used, as it is badly damaged.
The inscription on the stone wall suggests that the mosque was built in 749, that is, in the VIII century. The main reason for the construction of these mosques was the spread of Islam among the population. The presence of such buildings in the village of Kryz shows the firm attachment of these places to Islam.
